The American School Model United Nations has been for many years an event organized by students of the last grades, this has had a national focus, where several schools around the country are invited to participate in its city of development, Barranquilla, for three days, where we face challenges and challenges that faces or faced at some point our society.

This is developed with representatives of the United Nations, members of international organizations, important figures and political or power figures around the world, these are in charge of dealing with issues of international and national interest, including social, economic, political and environmental branches,  which are treated diplomatically, with the purpose of acquiring skills to deal with social issues, negotiation, teamwork and extensive knowledge about the different positions and opinions on the same topic.

ASMUN is a great opportunity for young people around the world, full of learning, dynamism, and it is an ideal time for many to demonstrate the skills that each individual possesses. We reaffirm the effort given every day to the development of this model and the faith that it will be successful like previous years.
